Using Paperlocal
By using Paperlocal, you agree to these terms. You may use the service only for lawful purposes and only with files you have the right to process. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass its safeguards, or use it to harm another person or system.
Your files and responsibility
You retain responsibility for the documents and images you select. Paperlocal does not claim ownership of them. Because processing occurs locally, Paperlocal cannot recover your files or completed downloads.
Keep an untouched original and inspect every downloaded file before relying on it or sharing it.
PDF compatibility
PDF files can contain signatures, forms, bookmarks, attachments, annotations, scripts, permissions, and vendor-specific structures. A transformation may change or remove some of those features. Digitally signed files may no longer validate after modification. Password-protected files must be unlocked before processing.
Public beta and availability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis during public beta. Features may change, fail, or be withdrawn. To the extent permitted by law, Paperlocal disclaims warranties and is not liable for lost files, lost data, corrupted output, business interruption, or indirect damages arising from use of the service.
Some jurisdictions do not permit every limitation above, so those limitations apply only where lawful.
Changes and feedback
These terms may be updated as the product evolves. A new date will appear at the top of this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Product feedback is welcome through the support page.
