What to check before sharing

Merging is not compression: the resulting file size depends on the source documents. Review forms, bookmarks, annotations, and signatures after merging; do not assume their original behavior or signature validity survives. Large files can exceed your device’s available memory. Keep the original files.

Common questions

Can I check the page order before downloading?

Yes. Review the document groups and their page previews after reordering. The merged document follows the displayed document order. To move individual pages across the result, use Rearrange & Insert after merging.

Does merging change the original PDFs?

No. PaperLocal creates a new combined PDF for download. The source files on your device are not overwritten by the tool.

Does PaperLocal add its own watermark?

No. Merging does not add a PaperLocal watermark. Existing marks in your source pages remain part of those pages.
